A Better Future/ Inspiring Futures

An 18-month programme delivered within three settings in Leicester providing children and young people with free, regular creative sessions to raise aspirations and develop employability skills through taking part in music and arts activity.

There will be six months of sessions at our Pedestrian base in Leicester city centre, six months at a community venue and six months of sessions in a primary school working with Year 6 children.

The project will see us support 10 – 24 year olds facing barriers to future employment especially within the creative industries. Project participants will be offered opportunities to gain work experience, volunteer and apply for a long-term traineeships for 19+ (2 positions available) who will also receive mentoring throughout their traineeship.
