Concept

Concept is our long standing music project based around a 5 day intensive ‘pop up studio’ residency at which young people work alongside a team of artists to create an album of music based around a shared concept, character or theme.

Young poeple write orginal music and lyrics and record their tracks. All young people have the opportunity to complete a Bronze Arts Award qualification or to meet criteria from the Silver Arts Award.

We deliver a series of residencies with different groups across Leicester (shire) and Corby. So far, we have delivered residencies with children in care through TACT Fostering, young people accessing the Leicester LGBT+ Centre services and Northampton Supplementary Schools with young people celebrating their cultural heritage and mother tongue.
