We are so excited to join Bounceback Food for an exclusive book signing on Friday 8th October 12-2pm to celebrate the release of the new fundraising cookbook Secret Dishes From Around the World 3!
Secret Dishes From Around the World 3 is Bounceback Food’s third fundraising cookbook! It features 40 exciting recipes from 20 countries, beautiful food photography and original designs by artists supported by 20 arts charities and social enterprises across the UK. We commissioned illustrator Andrew Petrouis to work with our Creative Arts & Photography learners to create artwork for the German section of the cookbook. Andrew took these ideas and interwove them with textile links from Krefeld in Germany, as it is twinned with Leicester and combine them with an illustration of Alice Hawkins, Leicester’s prominant suffragette.
The Bounceback Food team are touring the UK to celebrate the publication of the third book in the Secret Dishes From Around the World series! We’d love for you to join us at LCB Depot where you’ll be able to meet illustrator Andrew Petrouis, the authors of the book and the Pedestrian team who collaborated over the last year on this nationwide arts project.
