Street Sports Training

 

Pedestrian provide structured, professional street sport sessions that open young people’s eyes to the possibilities of alternative sports and the part they can play in everyday life. Pedestrian tutors also place an emphasis on nutrition, stretching and safe practice to ensure that young people get the most out of their sessions. Street Sports are an engaging introduction to fitness and sport, appealing to every age and ability group.
Particularly through our work with a variety of partners - from PRUs to Creative Partnerships - we have learnt how to engage young people of all ages and abilities through taking the time to understand their needs and respect their ambitions.

Art Forms:

Skateboarding, Freestyle Basketball, Parkour (Free Running), Street Dance, Breakdancing, Street (Freestyle) Football, Urban Gymnastics.

Skills developed by Street Sports include: Physical Skill, Precision, Endurance, Timing, Creativity, Reactions.


Developing:

Team Work, Self Discipline, Fitness and Commitment.

We also offer some of these subjects as accredited courses, so as well as the Pedestrian certificate the participants can receive a GCSE or A Level equivalent qualification from the National Open College Network. Please contact us to find out more.
