SoundLab

On the SoundLab course learners work towards nationally recognised qualifications in Music Technology.

The course is ideal for those who want to Learn songwriting, dJing, explore becoming self employed or those that want to study Music at further education level.

The course explores what it takes to record and produce music as well as developing the skills and knowledge necessary for songwriting. Learners will explore Djing utilising turntablism skills, turntable equipment and modern djing technology as well as the opportunity to learn about creating music for videos.

Qualifications: Range of options including a GCSE alternative Key stage 4 Performance qualification and qualifications at Level 1 & 2. Courses are quality assured by Leicester Partnership School (LPS) & Leicester Education Business Company (LEBC)
