Target Cohort: Ex young offenders, young people at risk of involvement with ASB in Loughborough East

Partners: Youth Offending Service, Loughborough Police

Project's Key Objective: Reduce ASB incidents in Loughborough East

Summary: The project engages ex young offenders with positive exit routes from the criminal justice system in leadership training, developing their skills and engaging them as co-producers in street based activity in Loughborough East aiming to reduce ASB, alongside a programme of ‘Community Platforms’ disseminating information in community settings such as school assemblies.

 

 

Project Name: Changing Tracks

 

 Delivery Dates: April 2015 – April 2017

Commissioner: Leicestershire Police & Crime Commissioner

Target Cohort: KS2 Children

Partners: Primary Schools; Braunstone, Mowmacre Hill & Barley Croft

Project's Key Objective:  Reduce ASB in the area & heighten awareness of ASB in the wards of Braunstone Fields, Beaumont Leys and Abbey

Summary: Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour is a priority for the local police and community across all three wards. Pedestrian are delivering a creatively tailored initiative programme called ‘Changing Tracks’ in three schools to challenge attitudes, tackle issues in the community and disseminate their findings to their peers and residents in the area.
