Stuart Neil
Stuart Neil is a Senior Lecturer for the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. and was the Programme Director for Design for Interactive Media BA/BSc (hons) for the Cardiff School of Art & Design from 2004 to 2007and has taught on a multitude of programmes since joining UWIC in 2001, these would include Business Information Systems MSc/BSc/HND/HNC, Retail Management BA/HND, Design for Interactive Media BA/BSc, Graphical Communication BA, Fine Art BA, Broadcast Media and Popular Culture BA and is the external moderator for Design for Interactive Media HND/HNC and Bridgend College. He previously worked within the interactive media sector for numerous years and gained awards including a BAFTA. Stuart has been the Managing Director of Deft Design since 1996 and is the Education Director for 'Pedestrian Arts' a Charitable Non-Profit National Arts Company. Stuart reviews papers for and is a member of the British Computer Society, Human Computer Interface Group and has been a Judge for BAFTA, The Golden Pixel Awards and the Celtic Film Festival.
