Community Musician, Recording Engineer, Guitarist, Music Technologist.
I have been actively developing a love of all things musical for over 20yrs, with experience including a Sony funded residential at Rockfield Studios Monmouth, BBC Maida Vale Studios, 2 x Radio One sessions, and a host of session work.
I have been credited either as a performer or engineer on numerous releases in this country and abroad.
I have released music independently, nationally and internationally, and have composed music for film and TV.
I have co-ordinated many fund/awareness raising events for local and national organisations, including The Anti-Nazi League, Rock Against Racism, Lovelight Romania, The Lowdown Youth Counselling & info centre (Northampton). The Builth Wells Balkan Crew (Powys).
I am currently working with a Country Blues outfit Ghost Train a Gangsta Goth band Wilson , a P-Funk collective P-Hex , and a Psychedelic electric folk/noise band that will probably be called ‘Escalation’ (you saw it here first!).
My first experience of working with Pedestrian was as a performer, back in the days when Pedestrian was running a club night at Northampton’s Roadmender. Since then I have been affiliating myself with the organisation ever since, and, like the proverbial bad penny, keep showing up at meetings and free lunches.
As Pedestrian’s co-ordinator for Northamptonshire I aim to raise local awareness of the organisation, as well as involve myself in Pedestrian’s delivery, and so help develop the Town’s output of culture and art befitting ‘The Rose of the Shires.’
