The Gallery @ Pedestrian has been a vibrant and well sought-after exhibition space since 2010. The Gallery is independently funded and Pedestrian is a registered charity. We aim to work with a variety of artists to hold intriguing and thought provoking exhibitions. Our ethos is focused on providing high-quality exhibitions that will give both professional creatives and emerging artists a space to showcase their work and develop their practice.

At Pedestrian we like to hold and create activity that allows people to engage with art in different ways. This along with our involvement with the community, including schools, colleges and universities, has allowed our gallery space to be host to creative workshops, participatory arts and many more weird and wonderful things. 

Our location in the heart of Leicester's Cultural Quarter combined with our beautiful floor to ceiling windows provides a wonderful venue for community and professional arts exhibitions. Our gallery is open 9:30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday and we are also available to be open evenings and weekends. We offer extremely competitive rates and terrific networking opportunities. Exhibitions are selected both from application and by invitation. We can also curate group shows and collaborate with external curators.
