Job Opportunities
Associate Creative Practitioners: Derby, Leicestershire, Nottingham
Our education provision is growing, and we'd like to grow our team of Associate (freelance) tutors along with it. If you think you've got what it takes to inspire young minds, share your passion for your specialism, and teach accredited programmes of work, you should get in touch.
We're looking for Associates with specialisms in music technology, djing, and graffiti art. You don't need to have an in date CRB (as we do those) but it is an advantage. Own car or a love of public transport also a plus!
Send an email detailing your experience in your specialism, why you want to/currently work with young people, and why you'd like to work with Pedestrian to INFO@PEDESTRIAN.INFO using the subject title ASSOCIATE CREATIVE PRACTITIONER APPLICATION. You can send us a CV and a few images / sound files / videos too, if you like (but it's not a requirement).
Rates of pay start from £90 per day.

Exhibit in our gallery
We accept exhibition applications all year round from both groups and individual artists.
The Gallery is independently funded and Pedestrian is a registered charity. We aim to work with a variety of artists to hold intriguing and thought provoking exhibitons. Our ethos is focused on providing high quality-exhibitions that will give both professional creatives and emerging artists a space to showcase their work and develop their practice.
Our location in the heart of Leicester's Cultural Quarter combined with our beautiful floor to ceiling windows provides a wonderful venue for community and professional exhibitions.
Our gallery is open 9:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday and we are also available to be open evenings and weekends.
Gallery Host
We are currently looking for Tuesday Gallery Hosts, this is also the day artists/groups install work, so if you are looking for valuable Gallery experience and volunteering experience, this role could be for you.
We are looking for a Host that could Volunteer all day 9.30am - 5pm, and a Host that could volunteer from 9.30am - 1.30pm.

Young People's Opportunities
Our summer activities are back for the 4th year running! Based in our workshop and studio in Leiceester city centre, we're inviting young people to participate in up to 3 weeks of creative activities Monday-Friday.
