Dance and Turntablism Tasters at Phoenix Youth Centre, Daventry

Phoenix Youth Centre, Daventry have been in touch recently and asked us to put on taster sessions for their young people to help them to decide which art forms they’d like to do. The turnout was great for both sessions, with approximately 30 participants in the dance session! We hope they are as thrilled with the sessions as we were, and would love to work with Phoenix Youth Centre again!

Free Pedestrian Event

We teamed up with our good friends at Softouch to put on what is set to become a regular series of quarterly events at the The Shed in Leicester - pioneering young urban artists from the city.

The event was supported by the good people at Emery Johnson Solicitors in Leicester who helped us to keep providing positive opportunities for the young people in the East Midlands.

Graffiti Art Completes Duke of Edinburgh Award

Talent 4 Life’s attendees are in the middle of their Duke of Edinburgh Award, and a ‘service’ aspect must be completed as part of the Award. This is where our graffiti art tutors come in, taking the young people through skills like can control and graphic design in order to create a breathtaking mural. The mural stretches all the way round the soon to be common room in the Talent 4 Life building, see below for the results and you’ll agree that the young people have got talent….

Multiple Graffiti Murals at Phoenix Youth Centre

Phoenix Youth Centre, Daventry have been working with us a lot lately, and the most recent project has been a massive graffiti mural. The mural stretches all the way around one room and also forms a backdrop to the stage where regular dance and drama performances take place.

This project emphasised graffiti as an art form, and how it can be used to really powerful and positive effect. The results speak volumes for themselves, as you can see below.
