First Week of Leicester Summer School

A story from our Young Creative Apprentice:

"The music week has ended and many students have come out of the workshop well educated about the different aspects of music and the different software that is used to make music.

The week started off with an introduction to music, the young people used the software ‘Logic Express’ with this software the created amazing pieces of music. Many students also made different remix’s of songs which can be listened to on my blog.

Throughout the week the students have also been making music videos to go with the music which they have created.

The Trainee Practitioners have also taught a small session. With the Trainee Practitioners we learnt how to write lyrics, drawn comics, and listened to music by different artists.

At the end of the day we all listened to the compositions that the students had created during the week.

Next week I will be putting my dancing shoes on!
