Dance Week With A Grand Finalé

"Hi it's Shivani again!

This week has been amazing. I got to take part and make a street dance routine and at the end of the week we all did a flash mob-it was epic! We first went into HMV in Highcross Shopping Centre and performed the routine. All of the shoppers loved the performance and were taking videos and pictures. The local newspaper came and took pictures, they will also be doing a story on the Summer School! 

We first performed it in the HMV store. The audience were really surprised. At the end of the performance we were all really happy at the reaction to the dance. All of the audience were amazed! We then went back to the gallery and practised really hard for the next performance which was the really big one-we were going to perform in the town centre. As we were walking to the space we were so nervous. But as soon as we started to dance the nerves just disappeared. The crowd were really supportive and they all clapped at the end. As we walked back to the gallery people came to us and congratulated us on the performance. 

It was really sad at the end of the week, we were like a big family. I made so many new friends which I will be keeping in contact with.
