1st – 9th August:
- Helen Neave exhibiting botanical drawings and paintings
- Kate Hubbard exhibiting nature projections in Refuel (LCB Café)
4th August:
- Louise Hall's 'Sing Your Heart Out' & Jean Wood's ‘Voices Coming Together’ singing groups will combine for this special event to embellish the event with easy to learn nature related songs that will encourage more / new voices to join in. 30minute sets at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
- 'Gardener’s Question Time' featuring East Midlands Today TV Gardener, Ady Dayman, (also of Derry's Nursery Cossington). Q&A event: so think of all the allotment, veggie growing questions you want answering at 3pm!
- A variety of stands sharing skills, information and advice on site from 11.30am – 3.30pm, including Leicester Organic Group, compost & worms stand, hedgehog rescue, wildlife hospital, Wildlife Trust, jam tasting and Community Harvest Whetstone group.
6th August:
- Free drop-in Art Classes with Botanical artist Helen Neave 10am-2pm, bring your own sketchbook and pencil!
LCB COURTYARD
14th August:

- Diana Tiernan exhibiting abstracts including new and unseen work.

- Art painting demonstration from artists Helen Neave at 11.30am.
- Meet the Nature Man and some beasties, suitable for all of the family from 11.30am -12.30pm. Nature Talk with local wildlife expert Gary Lilley (possibly with creature companions to meet…Expect the unexpected) Gary is one of Leicestershire's Reptile & Exotics consultant's to the RSPCA. He has excellent local natural history knowledge & also much experience of working in Indonesia against animal trafficking of endangered species. Ask him questions about your garden & its creatures.
