An Update From Our 'Sound Lab'

Since term started on the 5^th September we have seen the interest of the young people develop. For much of the students on this course music is an essential part of their lives. And tutors have seen the impact Sound Lab has had on developing their confidence.

Sound lab was designed to give a more in depth view on music, teaching our young people the different software and making their own music. Some individuals have taken this passion and ran with it. Using the music they have creative in sessions to make music videos.

So far this course has incorporated the functional skills of Math’s, English and ICT with the creativity of music, which will hopefully by the end of the term give our students the foundations they need learn to be a part of the music industry.
