Riverside Radio Club

The Pedestrian ‘Media and Arts Co-Ordinator’ at Riverside Business and Enterprise College has recently secured funding from Lighthouse Learning to allow us to run a series of radio workshops after school.
The main participants were those that needed more support with speaking and listening skills and radio is the perfect medium, encouraging young people to listen to their own voice and analyse their speech.
It’s been a brilliant project, and everyone involved has got a lot from it. We would like to say a massive thank you to Lighthouse Learning for giving us the means to make a difference!
