Media Training

 

Pedestrian provide equipment, support and a hands on approach that gives young people the creative freedom to achieve their goals. Media Training gives young people the technical skills and opportunities to enter further education and employment.

Particularly through our work with a variety of partners - from PRUs to Creative Partnerships - we have learnt how to engage young people of all ages and abilities through taking the time to understand their needs and respect their ambitions.



Art Forms:

Film Making, Radio Skills, Graphic Design, Creative Writing, Photography, Publishing. Please contact us for more information.

Skills developed by Media Training include: Computer skills, Presentation, Technical Skill, Transferrable Skills, Numeracy and Literacy.


Developing:

Creativity, Self Confidence, Sense of Achievement, Understanding of Media.

We also offer some of these subjects as accredited courses, so as well as the Pedestrian certificate the participants can receive a GCSE or A Level equivalent qualification from the National Open College Network. Please contact us to find out more.

In addition to our educational workshops and training sessions, we offer a range of other services including mentoring, CPD sessions, research and consultancy.
