Talent Match targets young people who are furthest from the jobs market, including those who are completely outside of the benefits, work and training system and facing severe barriers to gaining the skills they need to get into work. The project brings together partnerships of employers, education providers and others, led by local charities.
We are one of ten organisations in Leicester and Leicestershire that are leading the scheme locally. Our menu of opportunities includes drop-in employability and progression mapping sessions as well as intensive skills programmes that work towards live briefs, such as photography training leading to professional studio photography shoots and craft workshops leading to selling at seasonal fairs. Our offer includes mentoring and building an awareness of the creative industries and enterprise as pathways for progression.
Creative Industry Tasters
We are working alongside VESA, to deliver The Future Pathway Programme sessions across the East Midlands. Our project is an eight week taster Photography and Design programme for Year 10 students

The programme is nationally recognised as demonstrating excellence in arts and cultural provision. Arts Award is a nationally recognised suite of accredited qualifications that inspire young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it's creative, valuable and accessible.
